Took this on a week-long backpacking trip and the field-maintainable design gave me total peace of mind when the flow slowed down. A quick disassembly and rinse in a stream had it running clear again in minutes, and that cartridge lasts far longer than I expected.

Being able to take the filter apart and service it in the field is a huge deal for me, since I’ve had other filters die on multi-day trips. The microfilter cartridge lasted my entire two-week stint without slowing down, and cleaning it was straightforward. This one’s a keeper for sure.
