The flame control on this is genuinely impressive — I can go from a hard rolling boil down to a low simmer without the flame sputtering out. Boiled water for coffee in under three minutes at 9,000 feet. It's so small it disappears into my cook pot.

Tried it out in the backyard before hitting the trail, and the flame control is genuinely precise for a stove this light. It boils water fast and packs down so small it disappears into the side pocket of my pack. That consistent simmer makes it feel way more expensive than it is.

Took this on a weekend backpacking trip and the whole setup barely added weight to my pack. The wide flame spreader made simmering dehydrated meals way less fiddly than my old burner, and it boiled water fast enough that I didn't get impatient.
