First camping trip with it and the head design makes it really easy to sink stakes straight down without bending them, even in that packed dirt by the creek. The weight feels solid but not exhausting to swing, and I love that it doubles as a way to pull them out without leaving holes.

I was skeptical about needing a dedicated stake hammer, but this thing drives stakes in so fast I actually look forward to setting up camp now. The solid head gives every swing real weight, and I’ve stopped worrying about leaving dents in the ground.
