The plastic-y taste that came from my reservoir is basically gone after running this in the line for a day. It’s a small, lightweight piece that doesn’t add bulk, and I can actually enjoy the water from streams now without that weird mineral aftertaste. Definitely worth the money for how much better

The water tastes noticeably cleaner after passing through this filter—no more weird plastic or river-bottom funk. It screwed onto my bottle easily and didn't slow down the flow much. Camp coffee finally tastes like coffee instead of swamp.

The carbon filter did exactly what I hoped—the water from that mountain stream tasted clean instead of muddy or metallic. It’s light enough that I forgot it was in my pack until setup, and the whole gravity system was ready in a couple of minutes.
